Home Remedies using Beer
The lone can or bottle of beer decorating your refrigerator shelf could become the next solution to a handful of common household and beauty dilemmas. The ingredients in this party drink can come in quite handy when you know how to put home remedies for beer to your advantage.

Beer Home Remedies
To look at a glass of beer, you’d never think that it has vitamins, sugars, yeast, and other ingredients that could become useful beyond consumption. In fact, beer is packed with components that can enhance the health of your hair, as well as clean and solve everyday issues. Below are a few suggestions on how to put home remedies for beer to good use:
a) Marinate Meat:
Beer can be used as a marinade for meat that softens some of the toughest cuts. Perfect for when you run out of meat tenderizer, pour a can over meat and let it soak for about an hour before cooking. The best results come when you marinate the meat overnight in the fridge or combine the beer and meat in a slow cooker.
b) Ease Tired Feet:
Add a few bottles of cold beer to a bucket to create a foot soak that relaxes your feet. The cold temperature and carbonation will feel luxuriating after a long day.
c) Clean Gold Jewelry:
Add shine to your gold jewelry by pouring a small amount of beer onto a soft cloth, and gently rub over the piece. Use a second clean cloth or towel to dry. Do not attempt this remedy on jewelry with gemstones.
d) Clean Wooden Furniture [1]:
No need in tossing away a can of old, flat beer because you can still use it to clean wooden furniture. Wipe on the beer with a soft cloth, and then dry off with another.
e) Shiny, Thick Hair:
Since beer has high levels of vitamin B and natural sugars, a can of flat beer at room temperature can build thickness and volume to hair. It can also make your hair shiny. Use as a rinse after washing out your usual conditioner. Remove using plain water. ?
f) Trap Garden Pests:
The scent and taste of beer has the power to lure garden pests to their end, especially slugs and snails. Simply bury a container in the place where pests gather in your garden, and fill with a 12-ounce can of warm beer. Leave the trap overnight, and in the next morning, you’ll find a party of pests drowning in the liquid.
g) Clean Stained Rugs:
Pour a small amount of beer over coffee and tea stains on a rug. Lightly rub the beer into the material, and the stain should vanish. To remove all traces of the stain, you may have to repeat the process a couple of times.
h) Fix Wild Hairs:
When hairs have gone astray, use the stickiness of beer to fix the hairs on your head that have gotten out of place. The liquid has some of the same qualities as hairspray and can also tame fuzzy eyebrows.
i) Create Hair Highlights:
Soaking your locks in beer and then sitting out in the sun will bring out the natural highlights in your hair.
j) Treat Split Ends:
To get a mane of healthier hair, beer can help straighten out split ends. Pour a can or bottle of light beer over your head while in the shower. It is believed that the proteins and sugars found in the beer bond to the hair shaft, which helps strengthen and smooth the cuticle.
k) Soften Your Skin:
Adding two bottles of dark beer to your bathwater can soften and soothe your skin – thanks to the yeast in the beverage [2].
l) Remove Hair Product Residue:
The hops in beer possesses an astringent quality that helps rinse away the residue in your hair and scalp left behind by styling products and your environment.
m) Setting Lotion:
When you’re battling flat strands, reach for a can of flat beer. Before taking a shower, mix three tablespoons of beer with ½ cup of warm water. After shampooing your hair, follow up by rubbing the solution into your locks. Leave the remedy in your hair for a few minutes, and then rinse off.
