I get a heat rash every year on my arms (where they fold behind my elbow) and on the backs of my knees. I live in south alabama and it gets HOT. I get it every summer.
I usually treat it with baking soda. Just wet the area and rub some baking soda on it to create a paste. It will burn a bit. I also use camomile to treat the itching.

Should i be concerned that i get it every year though?

Have you ever gotten heat rash so bad that you had blisters? Well, I manage to almost every summer and instead of bandaging the sores up or trying to cover them up, one year, I just let the fresh air hit them and the heat rash actually healed quicker.
