chall: putting pee in the affected ear probably isn't that bad of an idea. (You should never put peas in your ears.) Urine is sterile (unless you have a bladder infection). The PH and composition of urine might kill bacteria and sooth the ear. Urea is a common ingredient of healing lotions for dry and cracked skin.

If the urine gets trapped in the ear, it may turn into ammonia which will definitely kill both good and bad bacteria. I don't know what other effects might occur.

A hair dryer set on low heat and blown on the affected ear is supposed to help bring relief from the pain.

my mom when i was younger would get me to pea in a cup, she would then take a droper and put 3 to 4 drops in my ear, for a ear infection. That seemed to always work. When in the hour my ear would not hurt.
