My tip is only use it around baseboards and creavics. Places where fleas can hide. I made a big mistake using DE on entire carpeting. It was a fiasco. Make sure you only use FOOD GRADE DE not DE for pools.You can buy DE food grade at Agway. DO NOT use DE for pools. It is not recommended at all for this use.
