For 16 years my daughter has battled excema. A Low carb diet, anti-fungal herbals ie:garlic, caprilic acid etc, sunlight and beach trips or pool trips keep her skin baby smooth.

I’ve had eczema for at least 15 years and became weary and a little nervous about using a full bottle of high-octane cortizone every month.

My new technique is to dab a cotton pad with Hydrogen peroxide and then run a bit of water over the pad before cleansing the affected areas (I get huge outbreaks…in multiple places on my body. Ick). I make sure to avoid touching clothing or other surfaces until it dries completely.

Then I use Johnson’s baby oil *gel* with aloe. I’m sure that any gentle moisturizer would do the trick but I know the baby products are safe + free of harsh things…not to mention cheap!

It is certainly not a magical cure-all but it works nearly as well (though not as fast) as cortizone creme. It’s cheaper and I feel safer with this as a long term strategy since, clearly, this eczema isn’t going anywhere.

i rub coconut oil on my eczema area,very soon it soothes and all itching and rashes gone.

When my daughter would get Eczema on her arm. At night time the doctor would have me dab her arm with water, put lotion on and then loosely wrap her arm with seranwrap. By morning it was gone.

My son & daughter get really dry hands and we put any type of lotion then place them in latex gloves. We would do this treatment for 5 minutes.

Bag balm…you can find this at any local feed store. Rub a little amount on affected area after you get out of the shower or just throughout the day..no more than 2 or 3x’s.

Mix Vaseline and sudocream together or any cream your using to treat eczema rub on skin twice a day, helped my sister and will help you!
